Bel Air Platinum - in the heart of the Costa del Sol

The Costa del Sol stretches along just over 150 kilometres of Málaga province and is one of Spain's most popular tourist destinations. The area's mild climate is the root attraction that makes it possible to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities year round.

Marbella - the luxurious resort town, that has it all

Marbella is a favourite location with the rich and famous, which means prices are bit more then you might expect in the quieter resorts. But Marbella has a down to earth side as well, a traditional Andalucia spirit which can be appreciated by exploring the back streets in the older part of town.

One 'must see' area is 'Orange Square' (La Plaza de los Naranjos) which is located just off the main street in the older district and is also home to the 16th century Town Hall and Tourist Office where you can pick up a detailed map and visitor information.

Home to stately buildings, thriving shops, art galleries, bars and bistros Orange Square has a vibrant buzz around the clock. You're sure to enjoy exploring the honeycomb of surrounding narrow streets where homes and shops intermingle to create the atmosphere of a small village, rather than a cosmopolitan town.

Gibraltar

Well worth a visit, Gibraltar's frontier is open 24 hours a day to enable to across the border by car or on foot with your passport of course.

They are many things to do in Gibraltar, most popular of course 'The Rock Tour', which takes you around Gibraltar and includes St Michael's cave (prepared as an emergency hospital in World War II, but never used) amongst others.

They are often an abundance apes roaming around the Rocks - a species of tailless monkeys called Barbary Macaques. These macaques can be found in Morocco and Algeria, with these in Gibraltar being the only free-living monkeys in Europe today. Beware of having any food in your hands, as often the apes will steal this from you and have also been known to bite!

Keen dolphin watchers will enjoy a trip to spot some of the large populations of wild dolphins to be found in the bay of Gibraltar.

Costa del Golf

Andalucia is renowned for its top golf courses and the unique sunny and warm winter climate allows golf to be popular all year round. There are nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia. By car you can reach Los Naranjos, Aloha, Las Brisas and La Quinta within 10 minutes.

Torrequebrada, Mijas Golf and El Paraiso are within 20 minutes, Sotogrande and Valderrama, (Ryder Cup - 1997, 1999 World Championships) within 40 minutes. There are approximately 20 other golf courses on the Costa del Sol within a 30 minutes drive.

Nightlife

There are many excellent bars in Puerto Banus usually open until 4 am. The livliest bar is XS bar, which is located in the Plaza de la Comedia in the second line behind Sinatras.

The bar is usually full of Marbella's crazy crowd and everything is possible from dancing on the tables through to the legendary Funnel of Doom, which is a lethal drink usually reserved for hen and stag nights.

Skiing!

Believe it or not, Bel Air Platinum is within a 2 hours drive of the Sierra Nevada Mountain's - a wonderful ski resort - where you can hire all the necessary ski equipment. The best months are Jan/Feb/March when the skiing is excellent.

So it's possible through the winter to ski in the morning and swim in the pool at Bel Air late afternoon!
